Somerset firefighters were quick to respond Tuesday to a report of a vehicle fire in the drive-thru at the Clifty branch of Forcht Bank. Firefighters said Barbara Roberts was in line at the bank to make a transaction when the car began smoking, and soon flames were coming from the engine. Before fire fighters arrived, bystanders tried to put the fire out with an extinguisher, but 911 was called when the stubborn fire continued to burn. Firefighters said Roberts got out safely, along with her dog, which was also in the car, and the fire was extinguished before the building sustained any damage.
