Cranfill & Shrum to be united in marriage August 14

Somerset — Larry and Tammy Cranfill of Somerset wish to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Lindsay Marie, to Travis Benjamin Clay Shrum.

Lindsay is the granddaughter of Dorothy Cranfill and the late John Cranfill and the late Stephen A. and Alice M. Brown, all of Somerset. Lindsay is the sister of Meredith Cranfill, Somerset, and Martin and Sara Cranfill, Stanford.

Travis is the son of Glen Shrum, Somerset, and Paula Shrum, Bronston. He is the brother of Brittany Shrum, Bronston; the grandson of the late Paul and Dorothy Bohrer of Somerset, the late Otis Shrum, Monticello, and Nita and Ed Baker of Monticello.

Travis is a 2000 graduate of Somerset High School and a 2006 graduate from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor of industrial sciences degree.

He is employed with Stewart Richey Excavation, Bowling Green.

Lindsay is a 2002 graduate of Somerset High School and a 2006 graduate from the University of Dayton with a bachelor of psychology degree.

Lindsay is currently attending Western Kentucky University, obtaining a masters of social work.

The couple will be married August 14, 2010, at St. Mildred Church in a private ceremony.

A reception will follow at The Center for Rural Development.
