Amanda Jo McDaniel of Somerset and Adam Cole Dodson of Monticello would like to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Amanda is the daughter of Martin Ray McDaniel of Muncie, Ind., and Dianna Tucker of Somerset. She is the granddaughter of Nancy Wagenknecht and the late Howard Wagenknecht of Brownsburg, Ind., and Doris Jones of Bronston and the late Willard Kay McDaniel of Monticello.

She is a 2005 graduate of Wayne County High School and a graduate of Somerset Community College.

She is currently pursuing a bachelor in business from Eastern Kentucky University.

Amanda is an employee of State Farm Insurance, Randy Kidd Agency.

Adam is the son of Gerald and Evana Dodson of Monticello.

He is the grandson of Norma Bertram and the late Ray Coffey and Zella and Elvin Dodson.

He is a 2005 graduate of Wayne County High School and a graduate of Somerset Community College. He is currently working on a bachelor in criminal justice through Campbellsville University.

Adam is an employee of the Wayne County Justice Center.

The couple will be married at Elk Spring Valley Baptist Church on June 6, 2009, at 2:30 p.m.

All friends and family are welcome to attend.
