Rodolfo and Marcella Diaz of Phoenix, Arizona, announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amber Adela, to John Michael Pearson, son of Dale and Zella Pearson of Somerset.
The two will be united in marriage December 29, 2011, at Mountain Park Community Church in Phoenix, Ariz.
Invitations have been sent.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Arizona State University and a 2011 graduate of Duke University and is a Kenan Postdoctoral Fellow in the Kenan Institute for Ethics, Duke University.
The future groom is a 1999 graduate of the University of Kentucky and a 2004 graduate of Princeton University.
He is a research scientist in the depart-ments of Neurobiology and Neurosurgery, Duke University Medical Center.
The couple will reside in Durham, North Carolina.
