Joe and Rhonda Volpi of Somerset announce the wedding of their daughter, Lydia Rose, to John Travis Lane, son of Phillip and Carol Lane, also of Somerset.
Lydia and Travis were united in marriage before family and friends on July 24 in a beautiful outside wedding at the Bastin’s farm.
Ryan Atwood officiated the ceremony with Mary Volpi, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, and Conley Black as best man.
Grandparents of the bride are Richard and Odrie Singleton of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and the late Joseph Volpi Sr. and Anna Belle Volpi of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Grandparents of the groom are the late John Marion Roy and Vella Roy of Somerset, David and the late Lucille Lane of Jabez, Ky., and the late Johnny Murphy and Zula Murphy of Somerset.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Somerset Christian School and is a certified fitness trainer at the Bowling Green Athletic Club.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Pulaski County High School and a 2009 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Kentucky.
He is currently employed at Connected Nation in Bowling Green as a research analyst.
After a honeymoon trip to Nashville, Tenn., the couple resides in Bowling Green.
