Marty and Karen Hunt, Sherry (and John) Little and Brian Meece are proud to announce the wedding of their children, Amanda Hunt and Tyler Meece.
Amanda and Tyler were united in marriage July 3, 2011, in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
Amanda is the granddaughter of Malcolm and Sue Smith, Elwood and Georgia Lou Hunt, and the great-granddaughter of Beulah (and the late Everett) Hunt, all of Somerset.
Tyler is the grandson of Ruth (and the late) Raymond Cash of Somerset and Joe and Linda Meece of Crystal River, Florida.
Amanda and Tyler were married at sunset in a beach-side ceremony at Gulf State Park, surrounded by family and friends.
Bridesmaids were Brandi Meece, Ashley Hunt, Melody New, Susan Daulton and Autumn Hunt.
Groomsmen were Steve Cotton, Mikkle Hampton, Kyle Hawk, Josh Daulton and Andrew Hunt.
Videographer was Stephanie Hatfield.
Haylee Hunt and Chandler Taylor, cousins of the bride, also participated in the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, a cake and champagne reception was held at Beach Pavilion overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and a post-ceremony dinner was hosted by the bride’s parents at DeSoto’s Restaurant in Gulf Shores.
The following day, the Meeces boarded the Carnival Cruise ship “Triumph” at the Port of New Orleans for a cruise to Mexico, where they took shore excursions to Progresso and Cozumel.
Amanda is an employee of the Pulaski County School System as an eighth-grade teacher at Northern Middle School.
Tyler is employed by Lectrodryer in Richmond, Ky., as a welder.
The couple will reside in Somerset.
Amanda and Tyler would like to thank everyone who made their special day possible.
