Somerset — Brandy Lee Benfield and Christopher David Cornett, together with their parents, would like to announce their engagement and forthcoming wedding.

Brandy is the daughter of Judy Benfield of Morganfield, Ky., and the late Benny Benfield.

Chris is the son of David and Karen Cornett of Somerset.

Brandy is a graduate of Southwestern High School and Western Kentucky University.

She is currently employed by Ista Pharmaceuticals.

Chris is a graduate of Pulaski County High School and Eastern Kentucky University.

He is currently employed by D.W. Wilburn.

The wedding will take place July 28, 2010, in Nassau, Bahamas.
