Parents of the bride are Todd and Teresa Johnson New of Berea. Grandparents are the late Amos Johnson and Sylvia Johnson of Nancy and Jason and Jeraldine New of Berea.
Parents of the groom are Donald and Lorene Bowling of Morehead.
The bride graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2008 with a degree in health services administration.
She is employed as an administrative coordinator at Dermatology Associates in Lexington.
The groom is a veteran of the United States Army and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 2008 with a degree in assets protection and security.
He works as a security supervisor at the Toyota Manufacturing Plant in Georgetown.
Following a reception on the campus of EKU, the couple honeymooned in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
They are currently making their home in Richmond.
