The 2011 State 4-H Communications Day was held on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at the University of Kentucky.
Sarah Hall, a student at Science Hill School and member of the Pulaski County 4-H Club, participated and excelled in the competition.
Hall qualified for the state com-petition by receiving first-place blue ribbons in the Pulaski County Communications Contest and the Lake Cumberland Area Showcase of Stars.
Hall competed in the state demon-stration contest in the category of Home Environment.
Her demonstration was entitled “How to Make Bath Salts.”
Hall’s demonstration won her the prize of blue ribbon and Grand Cham-pion in her category, making her demonstration the top junior demonstration in the state in the Home Environment category.
