Mildred Baugh Mercer, 85, of Waynesburg, Ky., passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010, at her residence.
She was born in Eubank, Ky., on May 20, 1924, daughter of the late James and Thula Warren Baugh. She was a homemaker and a member of Eubank Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son, Mike Mercer of Waynesburg; one daughter, Ann (and Troy) Adams of Waynesburg; two brothers, Lewis Baugh of Louisville, Ky., and Carlos Baugh of New Castle, Ind.; four grandchildren, Ryan Mercer, Tim Adams, Eric Adams and Kimberly Adams; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Mercer, who died in June of 2008; her parents; one sister, Eva Baugh; and one grandchild, Doug Mercer.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ferlin Price officiating.
Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today, Saturday, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
