Somerset, Ky —
Christopher William Whitling, 50, of Eubank, Ky., departed this life on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on Nov. 12, 1959, in Bangor, Maine, the son of Ned William and Foster R. Davis Whitling. He was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps and was of the Christian faith.
Mr. Whitling is survived by his mother, Foster R. Davis Whitling of Fredericksburg, Va.; a brother, Ned Scott (and Sandra) Whitling of Bumpass, Va.; three sisters, Amber (and Randolph) Lashlee of Fredericksburg, Va., Julia (and Bill) O’Neall of Somerset, Ky., and Leslie (and Ernie) Chartier of Columbia, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was his father, Ned William Whitling.
There will be private services at a later date.
Arrangements for Christopher William Whitling are entrusted to Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
