Billy Freeman Sr.

Billy Freeman Sr., son of the late Edgar and Gladys Deck Freeman, was born in Boone County, Ky., on April 2, 1941, and he departed this life on April 3, 2008, having attained the age of 67 years.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Helton Freeman; four sons, Billy Freeman Jr. of La Grange, Ky., Timothy Lee Freeman of Latonia, Ky., Mark Allen Freeman also of Latonia, and Jeffery E. Freeman of Independence, Ky.; three daughters, Zella Delores Tolley of Latonia, Ky., Brenda Sue Mercer of Tateville, Ky., and Sandra Lynn Colston of Dry Ridge, Ky.; and four brothers, David, Jimmy, Wilford, and Stanley Freeman; five sisters, Ruby Alice Dinser, Linda Lou Oberer, Janice Rowe, Joyce Jones, and Judy Young. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of other stepchildren, step grandchildren, and other relatives and friends who mourn his passing.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his late wife, Virginia Ellen Freeman; one daughter, Kimberly Gayle Freeman; and one stepchild.

He was a kind person who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Grave Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 7.
