Selma Reynolds

Selma Story Reynolds, 77, of Somerset, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born Sunday, June 29, 1930, in Lincoln County to the late Henry Carter and Bertha Mae Payne Story. She is the widow of Foster Ruckel, she is the wife of NT Reynolds. She was a secretary at Yeary Insurance Agency and later at Hart Insurance Agency. She was a member of Stanford Baptist Church and very active with church activities for over 30 years. She also attended Polly Ann Baptist Church. Selma was a 1950 graduate of Waynesburg High School.

Survivors include her husband NT Reynolds of Somerset; five step children, David Reynolds and his wife Valerie of Somerset, Darrell Reynolds of Crab Orchard, Jerry Reynolds (and his wife) Amy of Crab Orchard, Jesse Reynolds (and his wife) Connie of Somerset, Melinda Reynolds and her husband Tony of Somerset; four brothers Darrel Story of Waynesburg, Glen Story of Waynesburg, Ray Story of Vine Grove, Ky., Randall Story of Waynesburg; two sisters Wilma Gooch of Stanford, and Phyllis McMichael of Leitchfield Ky; 13 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Selma was preceded in death by her first husband Foster Ruckel, two brothers Willard and Harold Story; a sister, Georgia Padgett; and a granddaughter. Danielle Elizabeth Reynolds.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 25, at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home with Bro. Don Jones, CE Jacobs and Shelby Reynolds officiating.

Burial will follow in Eubank Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 until 9 p.m. today at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be nephews.
