Elmer Lewis Crozier, 89, Chattanooga, went home to be with his Lord on Dec. 12, 2009.
A faithful servant of our Lord and Savior, he worshipped with the North Terrace congregation of the church of Christ in Chattanooga. Having begun his career at Erlanger, he was Hospital Administrator at Somerset, Ky. for many years and retired with Humana in Louisa, Ky. in 1983.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth Jewell Acuff Crozier; and sons, William Wiley Crozier and Elmer L. Crozier, III.
Survivors are his daughters Mary Ann Makooi and Cathy Jewell Lindsey, and son David Earl Crozier; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and his devoted dog Spot.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Mack Stephens and Perry Hurst officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Hamilton County Memorial Park.
Visitation is 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour before services on Saturday at the funeral home. He requested no flowers please.
