Nicholas Ayden Steele

Nicholas Ayden Steele, infant son of Kaitlyn Adrianna Griffin and Jason Steele, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Nicholas is survived by his father, Jason Steele of Somerset; a half brother, Tristan Steele of Somerset; his grandparents, Tammy McLin of Somerset, Rhonda Griffin of Somerset, and Derel Griffin of Somerset; step grandfather, Chris McLin of Somerset; great grandparents, Glenna and Ed Powers of Somerset, Bill and Lorraine York of Somerset, Linda and Mike Roberts of Berea, Ky., and Georgia Ping of Somerset; three aunts, Amber Steele of Eubank, Ky., Jennifer Mounce of Somerset, and Ashlee Steele of Somerset; two uncles, Brandon Lee Griffin of Somerset and Anthony Steele of Somerset; seven great aunts, Robin Mullins of Somerset, Reddia Gadd of Mt. Vernon, Ky., Rebecca Matias of Somerset, Etta Farris Meece of Somerset, Juanita Stallsworth of Independence, Ky., Kathy (and James) Taylor of Somerset, and Vicki Steele of Somerset; five great uncles, Kenneth Steele of Somerset, Scotty York of Somerset, Ronald Mullins of Richmond, Ky., Douglas Griffin of Mt. Vernon, Ky., and Robert Griffin of Dayton, Ohio; and numerous cousins.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Kaitlyn Adrianna Griffin, and his grandfather, Gary Steele.

Visitation for Nicholas will be Sunday, December 13 at 5 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Ky. 80, Somerset.

Funeral service will be Monday, December 14 at 2 p.m. at the Science Hill United Methodist Church with Bro. Mike Strehl, Bro. A. Wayne Watts, Bro. Steve Mullins, and Bro. Jamie Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements for Nicholas Ayden Steele are entrusted to Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
