Tonya Gail Cook, 30, of Somerset, Ky., passed away on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Born on June 20, 1979, in Lexington, Ky., she was the daughter of William Odell Cook and Mary Elizabeth Williamson Cook.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Williamson Cook of the White Lily community of Pulaski County, Ky.; her stepfather, Jerry Sears of the White Lily community; step grandparents, John and Ruth Sears of the White Lily community; seven uncles, Joe Williamson of Bronston, Ky., John Williamson of Somerset, Herman (and Deanna) Williamson of Mt. Victory, Ky., George (and Brenda) Williamson of Monticello, Ky., James (and Linda) Cook of the White Lily community, David (and Margaret) Cook of the Antioch community of Pulaski County, and Lyndon Cook of the White Lily community; four aunts, Linda (and Harold) Alton of Tateville, Ky., Kathy Bundy of Somerset; Jo Ann Hill of Tateville; and Alice (and Junior) Monday of Tateville; and numerous cousins.
Preceding her in death were her father, William Odell Cook; two uncles, Charles Williamson and Lowell Thomas Williamson; and an aunt, Barbara Cook.
Visitation will be today, Dec. 6, at 5 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. James Birchfield officiating.
Burial will be in the Sloans Valley Cemetery.
