Louella Mofield

obituaries

Louella Mofield, daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy Mae Hodge Hines, was born at Wade, Ky. on May 13, 1931 and she departed this life on Nov. 30, 2009 having attained the age of 78 years.

Louella is survived by the following children: Richard Eugene (and Arlene) Mofield, Roy Glen (and Margaret) Mofield, and Carroll Ray Mofield, all of Somerset, Brenda Ilene (and John) Emerton of Cookeville, Tenn., Dinah Kay (and Ronnie) Dick of Nancy, and Randy Dwayne (and Lois) Mofield, also of Nancy.

Mrs. Mofield also leaves behind one sister, Bertha Bolin of Nancy; also surviving are 16 grandchildren, Sharon Mofield Boswell, Christopher Dillon Mofield, Chad Glen Mofield, Candi Carroll Burton, Rhiannon Rae Mofield, Travis Tritt Mofield, Scott Lynn, Sumpter, Amy Dawn Beddick, Melissa Gale Ard, Joseph Lee Mofield, Deanna Faye Mofield, Noah Nicholas Dick, Waylon Lee Dick, Ryan Dwayne Mofield, Ashley Marie Morris and Austin Wayne Mofield; and 23 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews who all mourn her passing.

Other than her parents, Louella was preceded in death by two children, Roger Lee Mofield and Denver Lee Mofield; three brothers, Don, Henry and Richard Hines; two sisters, Emogene Dick and Lela Daulton; and one great-great-grandchild, Logan Thomas Dick.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. John Baxter officiating. Burial will follow in the Vaught Ridge Cemetery in Science Hill, Ky.

The family of Mrs. Louella Mofield will receive friends on Wednesday after 6 p.m. at the Pulaski Funeral Home.

Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be handling the arrangements of Mrs. Louella Mofield.
