Gabrielle Rae Merrick, 4 months, of Stanford, Ky., infant daughter of Jason and Emily Merrick, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky., due to complications following open heart surgery.
She was born in Lexington, Ky., on July 11, 2009.
She is survived by her parents, Jason and Emily Merrick of Stanford; maternal grandparents, Louie and Ann Mounce of Eubank, Ky.; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Halla Wilson of Nancy, Ky.; and two sisters, McKenna and Olivia Merrick, both of Stanford. She will be remembered by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Raymond Merrick.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Nov. 24, at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating.
Visitation will be after 8 a.m. today at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
