Linda Waddle

obituaries

Linda L. Waddle, 48, of Somerset, passed away on Friday, Nov. 20, 2009 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Born on Nov. 20, 1961 in Somerset, Ky., she was the daughter of Zada Estep Price and the late Coy O. Price. Mrs. Waddle was a beautician for Jo's Cut, Color, and Curl and a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church in Somerset. She enjoyed her miniature horses, crafts, and was a member of the South Kentucky Miniature Horse Club.

Mrs. Waddle is survived by her mother, Zada Estep Price of Somerset; husband, Robert Waddle, whom she married in Sept. 1980 in Somerset, Ky.; a son, Phillip Waddle of Somerset; a brother, Mike (and Pearl) Price of Science Hill, Ky.; three sisters, Jane (and Prentice) Dotson of Somerset, Jill Norfleet of Nancy, Ky., and June (and Ted) McClure of Lebanon, Ohio; four nieces, Amy (and Tony) Cress of Nancy, Ky., Leslie Ann Waddle of Fort Bragg, NC, Scotty (and Phillip) Cooper of Mason, Ohio, and Dana (and Mike) Menster of Alexandria, Va.; four nephews, Mike (and Angie) Ping of Winter Haven, Fla., Bruce (and Dina) Ping of Lockland, Ohio, Adam Waddle of Somerset, and Chad Waddle of Somerset; her mother-in-law, Faustine Waddle of Somerset; a brother-in-law, Thomas Waddle of Somerset; and a special friend, Jo Ann Wesley of Science Hill, Ky.

Preceding her in death was her father, Coy O. Price; father-in-law, Dan L. Waddle; and a brother-in-law, Wayneth Norfleet.

Visitation for Mrs. Waddle will be at 6 p.m. today at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home and then Monday, Nov. 23 at 10 a.m. at the Pleasant View Baptist Church until time for funeral.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant View Baptist Church, Mark Welborn Road, Somerset with Bro. William Brown officiating.

Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery.

The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Linda L. Waddle Memorial Fund c/o Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Arrangements for Linda L. Waddle are entrusted to Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
