Margaret Louise "Tootsie" Stanley, 75 of the Pine Hill community passed away November 15, 2009 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tenn. with family at her side.

She was born on April 22, 1934 to Issac "Ikie" and Lorene Phillips in Scott County, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Robert Rhodes Stanley; three grandchildren, Katrina Allen, Robert Shane "Redbone" Allen and Dustin Chambers; her parents, Issac and Lorene Phillips; two brothers, Roy and Jack Phillips; two sisters, Ruthie Phillips and Alene "Pete" Powell; and a daughter-in-law, Brenda Sue Stanley.

She is survived by twelve children, Shirley Ann Gibson, Robert E. Stanley, Tommy Lee Stanley (and fiancée, Tammy Terry), Teddy Joe Stanley, Joy Newport, Patsy Stanley, Donna (and Gary) Chambers, Cora (and Ray) Marlow, Jimmie Sue Lewis, Ronnie Lewis, Natasha (and Curt) Phillips, all of Oneida, Tenn., and Rita (and JC.) Merrick of Nancy, Ky; 19 grandchildren, Lesley Baker, Belinda Baker, Melissa Hammock, William "Will" Stanley, Pamela Stanley, Megan Stanley, Christian Stanley, Jeremy Chambers, Chelsea Marlow, Issac Marlow, Gerard Newport, Jacob Newport, Lee West, Chauncey Stanley, Rusty West, and Katlyn West; eight great grandchildren; one uncle, Milford "Red" Daniels; a special sister-in-law and friend, Ilene Phillips; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Stanley will be from 11-2 p.m. today at Jones and Son Funeral Home, Oneida, Tenn., with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Douglas and Dwight Stanley, and Bob Staten will conduct the service.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Stanley will be William Stanley, Gerard Newport, Rusty West, Jeremy Chambers, Douglas and Dwight Stanley.

The final resting place will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Oneida, Tenn.

Mrs. Margaret Louise "Tootsie" Stanley was loved by all, stranger to none.
