James Allen Martin, 47, of Delta Community of Wayne Co., Ky., passed away Thursday, October 8, 2009 at his residence.
He was born in Amherst, Ohio, on September 15, 1960 to the late Dallas and Vena Kidd Martin. James enjoyed listening to music, playing video games and watching television.
James is survived by his brothers, Bobby (Lana) Martin of Parkers Lake, Ky., and David Martin of Bronston, Ky.; sisters Mary Martin of Bronston, Ky., Brenda Martin (and Ron) Merritt of Parkers Lake, Ky., and Cathy Martin (and Ernie) Foster of Monticello, Ky. Also surviving him are several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for James will be held today after 6 p.m. at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking and Crematory.
The family will receive family and friends for visitation on Sunday, October 11 at 1 p.m. until time for service.
A celebration of James's life will be held Sunday, October 11 at 2 p.m. at Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Denzil Jones and Bro. Ferrel Morrow officiating.
Interment will be in the Loveall Cemetery.
