Preston Wells

obituaries

Mr. Preston Lewis Wells, son of the late Marion Giles and SaraAnn Campbell Wells, was born on Sept. 16, 1934 in Lincoln County, Ky. and he departed this life on March 17, 2010 having attained the age of 75 years.

He was united in marriage to Barbara Jasper Wells, she survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Tammie (and Rodney) Copenhaver and Tina (and Roger) Byrd; two grandsons, Rodney Allen Copenhaver and Daniel Preston Copenhaver; and one step-grandson, Johnny Lee Byrd; also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Herschel (and Jewell) Wells, Elmer Wells, Beulah (and Raymond) Naylor, Alvena (and Edwin) Henderson, and Katheryn Griggs.

He is also survived by one sister-in-law, Rosemary Wells; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Marion “Bill” Wells. Preston was a Korean War veteran and a paratrooper. He was a former plant manager for General Electric and was the owner of Circuit and Sounds Electronic Shop. He enjoyed his family, playing music and playing with and working with his horses. Preston was a kind person who will be greatly missed by his family and friends and leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all private services of Mr. Preston Wells.

The family requests exxpressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Their services to the Wells family were greatly appreciated.
