Glenda "Gail" Tubbs, 71, of Somerset, departed this life on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on Aug. 8, 1938 in Pulaski County, Ky., the daughter of Robert "Bob" and Zella Burton Roberts. She was a retired certified medical assistant for Tates Creek Nursing Home in Lexington, Ky. and a member of Okalona Baptist Church in Nancy, Ky.
Mrs. Tubbs is survived by her good friends, Dean (and Sally) Brush of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; special friends, Casandra Sumpter Cummings of Somerset and Kayla Haste of Somerset; and several cousins.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert "Bob" and Zella Roberts; husband, Jerry Wayne Tubbs, who died in 1999; and a brother, Leland "Butch" Roberts.
Visitation for Mrs. Tubbs will be Saturday, March 20 at 8 a.m. at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with her funeral service at 11 a.m. Bro. J.S. New will officiate.
Graveside service will be held in the Paris Cemetery in Paris, Ky. at 2:30 p.m.
