Sarah Leanna Eunice Coggins, age 6, of Burnside, Ky., departed this life on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at her home.
She was born on April 13, 2003 in Lexington, Ky., the daughter of Don and Patricia Thompson Coggins. She was a part of the Jordan Baptist Church family.
Sarah is survived by her father, Don Coggins of Burnside, Ky.; a God-sent mother, Marlane Lawless Coggins of Burnside, Ky.; four brothers, Alexander Scott (and Bobbie) Coggins of Tateville, Ky., Johnathan Coggins of Burnside, Ky., Jordan Coggins of Casey County, Ky., and Timothy Lance Christian Coggins of Burnside, Ky.; three sisters, Mechele (and Randy) Rowe of the Oak Hill community, Charlee Ann Grace Coggins of Burnside, Ky., and Jacinda Brown of Burnside, Ky.; her grandmother, Mozell Hessey of Ala.; a stepbrother, Phillip Lawless of Owensboro, Ky.; two stepsisters, Samantha Wariner of Somerset and Melinda Lawless of Russell Springs, Ky.; two nieces, Brittney Rowe and Charity Rowe; a nephew, Jaydon Coggins; many aunts and uncles; special caregivers from Jordan Baptist Church and Maxine Bolin; and a special friend, Haylee.
Preceding her in death was her mother, Patricia Thompson Coggins; and a sister, Amanda Marlane Lawless.
Visitation for Sarah will be Wednesday, March 17 at 9 a.m. at Jordan Baptist Church in Burnside, Ky. with her funeral service at 11 a.m. Pastor Billy Miller and Bro. Bill Miller will officiate. Burial will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Ky.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Jordan Christian Academy in Burnside, Ky.
