Jonah "Pete" Roberts, 86, of Ferguson, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at The Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation in Berea, Ky.

Mr. Roberts was born in Casey County on July 26, 1923 to the late Joe and Eliza Wesley Roberts. He was a self-employed handyman.

Mr. Roberts is survived by three sons, Bobby Joe Roberts, Johus Allen Roberts, Tommy Roberts, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter, Carolyn Sue McKee, Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Charles Parker, Science Hill, Ky.; two sisters, Eva Ray Steele, Alphine McCreary, both of Ohio; and several grandkids.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two wives, Bertha "Ruby" Roberts and Grace Roberts, four brothers and seven sisters.

Visitation for Mr. Roberts will be at 10 a.m. today at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with funeral services at 11 a.m., with Bro David Muse officiating.

Interment will follow in Somerset Cemetery.
