Trisha G. Caldwell, 43, of Somerset, Ky., passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2009, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on March 2, 1966, in Johnson County, Ind., the daughter of Alton and Barbara Mounce Gunter. She was a homemaker and member of the High Street Baptist Church. Trisha enjoyed church, camping, reading, and spending time with family.
Mrs. Caldwell is survived by her husband, Tony Caldwell, whom she married on August 1, 1981, at the Bethany Baptist Church in Somerset; a son, David Russell Caldwell of Somerset; her parents, Alton and Barbara Mounce Gunter of Campbellsville, Ky.; a brother, Rodney A. (and Rita) Gunter of Brown County, Ind.; a sister, Amy Lee (and Kenny) Steinke of Cloverdale, Ind.; her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Lee Russell Mounce of Shopville, Ky.; a special aunt and uncle, Russell and “Momma” Cheryle Creech of Shopville; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; her second mom, Sue Caldwell of Somerset; a special best friend, Melissa Smith of Mt. Victory, Ky.; and her beloved pet and companion, Pugs.
Preceding her in death were her maternal grandfather, Floyd Mounce, and paternal grandparents, Floyd and Ethel Gunter.
Visitation will be today, July 22, after 5 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Hwy. 80, Somerset.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 23, at 10 a.m. at the Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Amundson officiating.
Burial will be in the Clay Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Caldwell will be Rusty Creech, Jordan Jones, Joshua Mounce, Jacob Mounce, Ray Claunch, and Randy Rowe.
The Caldwell family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the High Street Baptist Youth Group.
