James Bishop

James Huston Bishop, 71, was born in the Barrier community, October 5, 1941 the son of the late James Homer Bishop and Hattie Kidd Bishop. He passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
He is survived by three children: Debra Bannister, Dwayne Bishop, and Holly Comley. Also surviving are his siblings: Jack Bishop, Lois Foster, Velma Dobbs and Veda Whitis with eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Huston had worked in the Automobile Industry for many years and was a self-employed inventory consultant at the time of his retirement.
As a young man he accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the Missouri Hollow Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday in the Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Anson Perkins officiating.
Burial in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
Viewing Friday after 11 a.m. until service time.
