Jan Yahnig

Jan Elizabeth Yahnig, age 59, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Feb. 15, 2013 at her residence.
She was born in Somerset, Ky. on Feb. 1, 1954, the daughter of Federick Eldon and Jane Godby Yahnig, both of whom preceded her in death. Jan was a longtime employee of Walmart. She was a member of High Street Baptist Church in Somerset.
She is survived by her son, Jan Mikkel (and Niccole) Jasper and granddaughter, Willow Ireland Jasper, of Dover, Ohio.
 She is also survived by five sisters: Jil Elaine (Kenny) Swearingen, Joy Ella (Arvle) Flynn, Joni Emily (Stephen) Wardlow, Julie Elise (Ted) Adkins, Jody Enger (Donnie) Shadoan; and one brother, Jeffrey Eldon (Tonya) Yahnig.
Other survivors include nieces and nephews: Jared Swearingen, Mikki Flynn, Kristen (Kris) Gibson, Aarika Flynn, Jesika Wilburn, (Aaron Cecil), Jon Douglas Wilburn, Brianna Wardlow, Dustin Adkins, Keaghlan Yahnig, Kayla Lunsford, Jeffrey Isaacs, Kiki (Randy) Brinson, Brandy (Josh) Hatfield, Ann Shadoan, Andy (Courtney) Shadoan, and Sarah Shadoan.
She is also survived by an aunt, Bettie Jo Godby Compton of Somerset; uncles:  Jimmie (Faye) Godby, Lexington, Ky., Vernon Earp, Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Glenn Callahan, Cincinnati, Ohio;, and numerous cousins on both the Yahnig and Godby sides of the family.
Jan's greatest joys in life were her son and daughter-in-law, Mikkel and Niccole, and granddaughter Willow.
Private graveside services will be held at Bradley's Chapel Cemetery at a later date.  
There will be no visitation.
Somerset Undertaking  Co. & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
