Robert Price

Robert Lee Price, 85, of Somerset passed away on March 11, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born on June 28, 1927 to the late William Riley and Margaret Whitaker Price in Burdine Valley. He was saved and Baptized at High Street Baptist Church where he was a member. He loved farming and working with his cattle. He enjoyed playing rook, bowling, and spending time with his family.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his son, Bobby (and Cathy) Price of Oak Hill; daughters, Linda Sue (and Joe) Schepens of Gulf Port, Miss., and Deana (and Lavelle) Morris of Georgetown, Ky.; step-daughters, Doris (and Lennis) Rice of Somerset, Kathy (and Tim) Toebbee, Elizabeth (and Alan) Creech; sister, Bethel (and Harold) Vest of Shopville; along with 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and several close professional trucking buddies. 
 He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald Lee Price, Willie, Luther, Isaac, Rosco, Thurman Price; and sisters, Goldie Davis, Eveyln Trett, Freda Head, Lizzie Reynolds, Louella Reynolds.
Visitation will be conducted on Saturday March 16, 2013 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. 
Funeral services will follow at 1 P.M. with Dr. Joel Patton and Bro. Chris Absher officiating. 
Interment will follow in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
