Marvin Wayne Vaught, 52, Wildwood Drive, Somerset, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 11, 1954, in Somerset, the son of the late Allen and Bertie Hargis Vaught. He was a 1972 graduate of Shopville High School; a maintenance technician at General Electric Glass Plant; a KHSAA high school official for basketball and volleyball; 30 years as a referee in the 12th Region; Kentucky National Guard for six years; member, yokefellow and usher at Beacon Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Dick Vaught, whom he married on Nov. 19, 1977, at Somerset First Baptist Church; two sons, Travis Vaught and Aaron Vaught, both of Somerset; a daughter-in-law, Amber Vaught; a special granddaughter, Kyra Vaught; and a brother, William (and Audean) Vaught, Somerset.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking Company with Dr. John Mark Toby, Rev. Kevin Milburn and Don Price officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

Pauline was born March 3, 1924 in the Elihu area of Pulaski County, Ky., the daughter of the late Luther and Allie Phelps Ping. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Pitman Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to church and collecting pictures, and cooking big meals for whoever came to visit her. She will be missed by all who knew her.
