Lucy Haney

Lucy Marie Haney, age 86, of Somerset departed this life on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 at the Cumberland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Somerset.
She was born on April 13, 1926 in Somerset, Ky. to the late Lizzie Mae Sawyer. Mrs. Haney was a homemaker and enjoyed reading her bible and attending church.
She is survived by a son, Harold Haney of Somerset; three daughters, Betty Jean (and James) Mounce of Somerset, Patricia Haney of Nancy, Ky., and Grace Marie (and Jay) Smith of Somerset;11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lizzie Mae Sawyer; husband, Charles Edward Haney, who passed away in 1985; and seven children, Kenneth Haney, Joyce Ann Mounce, Ella Mae Mounce, Mary Francis Abbott, Sally Fayrene Haney, Bernard Trey Haney, and Robert Wayne Haney.
Visitation for Mrs. Haney will be Wednesday, Feb. 20 after 12 p.m. at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with her funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Bro. Montie Phillips and Bro. Ron Cathers will officiate.
Burial will be in the Rush Branch Cemetery. 
Pallbearers for Mrs. Haney will be Harold Haney, Jay Smith, Kenneth Haney, and James Mounce. Honorary pallbearers will be Caden and Kaleb Tomlison.
