Trula Pilcher

Trula Vaught Pilcher, 84, of Frankfort, Kentucky, formerly of Pulaski County, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at her son's residence in Shelbyville, Ky.
She was born in Pulaski County, Ky., on April 3, 1928, daughter of the late Arthur and Effie New Vaught. She worked for a credit union and retired from employment with the State of Kentucky. She was a member of Eastern Star and the Democratic Women's Club. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two sons, Teddy L. (and Madonna) Pilcher of Frankfort, Ky.. and Larry G. (and Paula) Pilcher of Shelbyville, Ky.; two grandchildren, Kirsten Pilcher of Frankfort, Ky., and Kayla Pilcher of Louisville, Ky.; two brothers, Joe Vaught and Carlos Vaught, both of Eubank and Lucille Todd of Eubank.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Culvin Pilcher, who died on March 8, 2011; her parents; and five brothers, Clarence, Desota, Glen, Paul and Elmo Vaught.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013 at Mill Springs National Cemetery.
Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
