Kevin S. Fields, age 50 of Somerset, departed this life on Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Mr. Fields was born on April 25, 1961 in Richmond, Ky. to the late Donald and Anna Mundy Fields. He was a truck driver for Super Service Trucking and member of the St. Paul A.M. E. Church.
Mr. Fields is survived by his fiancée, Patricia C. Mayfield of Somerset; two daughters, Tapri (and Mike) Rice of Richmond, Ky. and Constance Covington of Winchester, Ky.; three grandchildren, TaNika Fields, Robert Rice, and Christina Rice, all of Richmond, Ky.; three sisters, Anita (and Henry) Turpin of Richmond, Ky., Trina Fields of Richmond, Ky., and Denetta Burton of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Duane (and Effie) Fields of Richmond, Ky.; three nieces, Letisha Fields, Vanessa Turpin, and Desiree Smith; three nephews, Michael Turpin, Chris Turpin, and Duane Fields; and a special uncle, Jimmy Mundy.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a special friend, Harold Covington.
The Fields family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 9 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Mr. Fields’ funeral service at 5 p.m. Bro. Paul Hardin will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be given to the Kevin Fields Memorial Fund c/o Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
