Bina Marie Jones, 80, of Science Hill, Ky., passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012.
She was born in Hogue, Ky., on August 4, 1932, daughter of the late Curtis and Edrie Faye Dick Shadoan. She retired from Wal-Mart as a sales clerk and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie (and Lloyd) Gastineau of Stanford, Ky., and Annette (and Randy) Burton of Eubank; one brother, Boyd (and Joyce) Shadoan of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister, Paula Colleen (and Ralph) Godbey of Danville, Ky.; five grandchildren, Misty (and James) Shelton, Mindy (and Troy) Turpin, Ben Burton, Blake Burton and Brad Burton; and two great-grandchildren, Shelby Shelton and Rafe Shelton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleaver B. Jones; her parents; one brother, Gary Shadoan; and the father of her children, Jack Mofield.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Godbey officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
