Reid W. Dalton, 71, of Nancy, Ky., passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born Jan. 11, 1941 in Trimble Community of Pulaski County to the late Willie and Florence T. Brock Dalton. Reid was a member of Delmer Nazarene Church. The family would like to thank special caregivers, Debbie Smith and Aileen Burton and the staff at Lifeline Home Health for the excellent care they gave to Reid over the years. They took extra special care and he loved them all.
Reid is survived by his brothers, James (Betty) Dalton of Somerset, Ky. and Ronnie Dalton of Nancy, Ky.; sisters Rosezala (Tom) Mays of Dayton, Ohio, and Louise (Demis) Burton and Elfreda Daulton of Nancy, Ky.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Betty Mae Daulton, Ina Fay Dalton and Bonnie Nelson; and brother, Cecil Dalton.
Visitation for Reid will be held Monday, Dec. 10 after 5 p.m. at the chapel of Nancy Funeral Home.
A celebration honoring the life of Reid will be held Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Nancy Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Morgan officiating.
Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Oak Grove Cemetery or Gideon Bibles.
Nancy Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
