Carla Sears

Carla Yeary Sears, 43, a resident of Somerset, Ky., passed from this life at Somerwoods Nursing facility January 16, 2013 with her loving family around her. 
Carla was born February 11, 1969 in Somerset, daughter of Christine Eastham and the late Carlos Eastham.
Carla was united in marriage to Jim Yeary at Southern Heights Christian Church on June 11, 1994.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory, along with her mother, a daughter, Sabrina Yeary; a brother, Craig Eastham (and Donna); nieces Lillie and Clara Eastham; along with many aunts and uncles, cousins and dear friends. 
Carla was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Yeary; father, Carlos Eastham; and grandparents Bill and Bonnie Burton and Jim and Mae Eastham.
Carla was a graduate of Pulaski County High School Class of 1987 and then attended Somerset Community College. She was an avid reader and was the recipient of the Pulaski County Spelling Bee while attending Meece Middle School. Carla was a loving, kind person and will be sadly missed by those who knew her.
Visitation for Carla will be held Friday, January 18 after 5 p.m. at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking & Crematory.
A celebration honoring the life of Carla will be held Saturday, January 19 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking & Crematory with Bro. Keith Peterson and Bro. David Morris officiating.
Interment will be in Piney Grove Cemetery no. 2.
The family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
