Anna E. Jasper.

Somerset —  

Anna E. Jasper, 90, of Somerset, Ky. departed this life on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at the Somerset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born on Dec. 4, 1921 in Pulaski County, Ky., she was the daughter of Mary (Daws) and John Ed Jasper. Ms. Jasper retired as a seamstress for the Palm Beach Clothing Company and she was a member of the Campground Baptist Church in Somerset, Ky. She loved to quilt and sew and enjoyed bluegrass gospel music and movies.
Ms. Jasper is survived by two grandchildren, Kim Jasper Owens and Gary Jasper; a great-grandchild, Randi-Kim Jasper Owens; a sister, Lottie Hawks of Mansfield, Ohio; and a son-in-law, Leon Jasper of Somerset.
Along with her parents, John Ed and Mary Daws Jasper, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Ann Jasper; a brother, Ezra Jasper; and a sister, Thelma Jasper.
Visitation for Ms. Jasper will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 12 p.m. at the Remembrance Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with her funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Bro. Don Branscum will officiate. 
A private burial will follow. 
The family of Ms. Jasper requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan, P.O. Box 27, Somerset, Ky. 42502.
Lake Cumberland Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Anna E. Jasper.
