Roberta Sadler

Roberta Jean Sadler, 80, of Ferguson, Ky., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at her residence.  
Two days shy of her 81st birthday, she was born on Jan. 24, 1932 in Somerset, Ky. to the late James and Angie L. Webb Hines. She was united in marriage to the late Clifton Ed Sadler on Oct. 16, 1948 in Somerset, Ky.
Roberta has lived in Ferguson most of her life and was a member of the Ferguson Baptist Church. She loved to crochet, read and play the piano.
Roberta is survived by her son, Danny Franklin (Mary) Sadler of Ferguson, Ky.; daughters, Sharon Lynn Davis of Findlay, Ohio, Debra June (Bobby H.) Bullock of Nunnelly, Tenn., Janice Ann Hardwick of Ferguson, Ky., Detta Susan Bohannon of McEwen, Tenn. and Grace Elaine (David K.) Miller of Barbourville, Ky.; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  
She is also survived by her brother, James Dewayne (Euna) Hines of Danville, Ky.
Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; step-mother, Lucy Taylor Hines; grandson, Jeremy Bohannon, killed in Iraq in Aug. 2007; great-grandson, Gabriel W. Davis, who died at birth; sons-in-law, Joseph Hardwick and Mark Bohannon; and nephew, James A. Hines.
Visitation for Roberta will be held Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking & Crematory.
A celebration honoring the life of Roberta will be held Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking & Crematory with Bro. Jason Moore officiating.
Interment will be in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Diabetes Association, Gideons Bibles and Lake Cumberland Hospice.
Somerset Undertaking & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
