Ogden Street bridge to be closed beginning Sunday

Somerset — Beginning this Sunday, the Ogden Street bridge in Somerset will be closed temporarily for railing repairs.

Work will take place between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. daily and is expected to last about a week, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Amber Hale, information director for the District 8 office, said the starting date and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.

"Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination," Hale said.
