He is the grandson of John Thomas and Sandy Langford and Doug and Sharon Turpin.
John Charles celebrated his first birthday October 15, 2009, with breakfast at Cracker Barrel with his dad, grandparents John Thomas and Sandy and great-uncle Charles.
He also had his portrait made with the Langford men in his life.
On October 17, 2009, he also had a first birthday party with family and friends.
