Jason and Emily Merrick of Stanford are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Gabrielle Rae Merrick.
Gabrielle was born July 11, 2009, at Saint Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, Ky. She weighed 6 pounds and was 18 inches long.
She is also welcomed by her two big sisters, McKenna (age 7) and Olivia (age 4).
Maternal grandparents are Louie and Ann Mounce, Eubank.
Paternal grandparents are Dennis and Halla Wilson, Nancy.
Gabrielle’s middle name was chosen in memory of her late grandfather, Raymond Merrick.
Gabrielle has Down syndrome and complex congenital heart defects. She will be having open heart surgery this month.
Baby “Gabby” has already brought so much joy to so many, and her family would like to thank the community for their prayers and support.
