Ricky and Amity Thomas of Somerset announce the birth of their daughter, Bristal Alizabeth Thomas.
Bristal was born Monday, March 23, 2009, at 7:11 p.m. She weighed 6 pounds 7-1/4 ounces and was 20 inches long. She was delivered by Dr. Brian Priddle at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Maternal grandparents are Kathy and Barry Girdler of Somerset and Wayne and Beckie Parvin of Irvine, Ky.
Maternal great-grandparents are Bobby Harness and the late Glenice Harness of Science Hill, Ky., and Mary Parvin and the late Wayland Parvin of Greeneville, Tenn.
Paternal grandparents are Mary Thomas Dempsey and Larry Thomas of Falmouth, Ky.
Paternal great-grandparents are the late Kirby and Eula Thomas of Casey County.
Bristal is welcomed by two big brothers, Orion, age 5, and Madox, age 3. She is the first girl in the Thomas family in 35 years.
We are so very blessed to have Bristal. She is truly a gift from God and our family is now complete.
