Caleb and Alicia Andrus of Somerset are pleased to announce the birth of their first daughter, Makenna Marie Andrus.

Makenna was born September 9, 2009, at 4:27 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and was 20 inches long. Makenna was delivered by Dr. Tara Horn.

Maternal grandparents are John and the late Patricia Rush of Somerset.

Paternal grandparents are Mary and the late Kenneth Andrus of Burksville, Ky.

Makenna joins four big brothers, Kyle Stone and Joseph, Trevor and Gage Andrus.

She is also welcomed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
