SOMERSET — Pulaski County School Board amended the district’s 2000-10 calendar at the March meeting earlier this week, adjusting the last day of school to account for a flurry of missed days.
Winter weather resulted in havoc for the school calendar, causing county students to miss 16 days for snow. As a result, the board moved back the end of the school year. The calendar now looks like this:
• School will be held on Friday, April 2. It was originally scheduled to be a day off.
• Spring Break will be April 5-9 as scheduled.
• School will not be in Election Day, Tuesday, May 18 (as mandated by state statute) or on Memorial Day, Mon-day, May 31.
• The last day for will be Thursday, June 3, not May 14 as first sche-duled.
