Eubank, Ky. — A local man sustained severe injuries Tuesday evening after a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Eubank.
According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, Natasha L. Price, 20, of Floyd Switch Spur in Eubank, was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier northbound on Old Waynesburg Road, located just off Ky. 70. Price looked away momentarily, according to the sheriff’s report, and veered into the path of a 2005 Zahn Motorcycle driven by Randall Hancock, 31, of R.D. Floyd Road in Eubank.
Both individuals were treated at the scene by the Eubank Volunteer Fire Department and Somerset EMS. The wreck occurred just before 6 p.m.
Hanock suffered severe injuries to his wrist and ankles — near amputation, according to Pulaski County Sheriff Todd Wood. He was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for treatment.
Price had more minor injuries and was taken to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
