CJ Staff Report

Kentucky State Police arrested a Bronston man this week on alcohol-related charges.

At 10:20 a.m. Thursday, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer Travis Rogers was on routine patrol on Ky. 914 in Pulaski County when he observed a green 1997 Mercury passenger car, the owner of which was known not to have a driver’s license.

Officer Rogers stopped the vehicle and learned it was actually being driven by Frank Souder, 53. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of Souder on the charges of first-degree DUI and third-degree illegal transportation of alcoholic beverages into a dry option territory.

Officer Rogers recovered 10 cases of beer and 10 bottles of liquor during the investigation.
