A Somerset man wanted by authorities in Georgia was arrested Tuesday at his workplace — a Burnside area restaurant.
Santos Gonzales Vasquez, 52, of Parkers Mill Way, was arrested without incident by Somerset Police Detective Chris Gates and was charged with being a fugitive from justice.
Vasquez was wanted by Sandy Springs, Ga., police on a felony warrant for aggravated child molestation.
SPD Detective Shannon Smith said Vasquez is accused of molesting a relative who is under the age of 12.
Vasquez is being held in the Pulaski County Detention Center. He will appear in Pulaski District Court to determine his extradition status back to Georgia, police said.
