A Somerset woman was taken into custody on drug-related charges by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department.
Mary J. Saenz, 49, of 136 North maple Street, Apt. 1, was arrested on a Pulaski Circuit Court warrant on indictment last week. She was indicted following an investigation conducted during February 2008 by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division, which resulted in the purchase of a controlled substance from the suspect.
Saenz was charged with second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, a first offense, and was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash or property bond.
• Also arrested last week was Pamela R. Danforth, 38, of 2601 Ky. 39 in Somerset. Danforth was arrested by authorities in Jacksonville, Fla., and was returned here by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department. She was apprehended on a Pulaski Circuit Court warrant on indictment and charged with theft by unlawful taking over $300.
Danforth was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on a $2,500 cash or property bond.
