Jamie Burton, new CEO at ADANTA in Somerset, was the guest speaker at the Somerset Rotary Luncheon at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital yesterday. Burton, a Pulaski County native, discussed her responsibilities at the 10-county service facility and the challenges they face in the upcoming year.
Tiffany Finley spoke to the Rotary Cub of Somerset last week about the recent Grand Opening of the Carnegie Community Arts Center. She gave a history of the center’s beginnings and renovation of the former library building. FInley is the Vice President of the Carnegie Community Arts Center Board of Directors.

The new tentative date to open the northern bypass (I-66) and the western end of Ky. 914 is Friday, September 10. Two days of heavy rain about two weeks ago held up construction and scuttled a planned opening tomorrow, beginning of the Labor Day holiday.
