Water Temperature
As of January 20, 2009, the water temperature at Lee's Ford Marina was 36 degrees at the surface and 5 feet and 37 degrees from 10 to 30 feet.
Fishing Conditions
Fishing conditions on Lake Cumberland are reported as follows: Striper activity has been slow to fair with a few being caught near the dam on bucktail jigs tipped with shad bodies. Bass are biting jigs using the float-n-fly method near main lake pockets. A few Crappie are being caught in the creeks on small jigs and minnows in 6 to 10 feet of water. Sauger and Walleye are biting spinners, jerk baits and jigs in the tail waters below the Dam. Below the Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery and in the Cumberland River, Rainbow and Brown Trout can be caught on spinners, salmon eggs, night crawlers, and corn.
